2008/04/20:Historiographus was redesigned with stable versions of software.
- Historiographus has now a refurbished site, with a new Main Page and the most recent stable versions of MediaWiki (Version 1.12.0), Semantic MediaWiki (SMW Version 1.0.1) and Semantic Forms (Version 1.0.3). All templates are now being redesigned to use Semantic Forms.

The main changes to Historiographus were the following:
- As a result of changes from SMW 0.7 to 1.0.*, the previous attributes and relations were replaced by properties (page properties for relations).
- Historiographus now uses Semantic Forms as the primary way to enter data into the wiki. This was done to assure that the wiki may be edited by non technical project collaborators with no loss of consistency in the use of the ontology.
- Historiographus now uses three special namespaces for essential auxiliary information not specific to the history of science: Citation (abbreviated Cit) for bibliographic citations, Calendar (abbreviated Cal) for time intervals and Geographic (abbreviated Geo) for geographic locations that do not inherit properties from other classes.
- All statistics regarding page views (around 29,000 in the old version) and edits (2,400) were reset.
